Bill Moss President & Owner
Experience: 45 years
Prior to forming the company in 1991, Bill Moss worked in the banking industry for over 20 years. He first joined the Bank of New Orleans in 1971 as a Programmer Analyst and later joined Louisiana National Bank in 1975. He rose from the position of Programmer Analyst to become Vice-President charged with the responsibility of managing three
As Vice-President of Systems and Programming for Automated Customer Support and Correspondent Banking he was responsible for over 100 non-banking customers and over 70 community banks. Responsibilities included the sales of products and services, installation of software and hardware, and customer training and support. Even as far back as 1979, he installed and managed non-image remote item/check capture and processing with client institutions.
Barry Landry Executive VP & Development Manager
Experience: 39 years
Barry Landry began his career in the banking industry in 1976 working in the accounting department of Citizens National Bank. In 1980, he was named Data Processing Manager and charged with the responsibility of establishing an information systems department. He was subsequently named Senior Vice President, Cashier, & Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the in-house development and maintenance of the banking application systems; implementing customer services such as ATMs, voice response, and descriptive statements; implementing automation throughout the bank to improve the efficiency of operations; and all financial activities of the company. In 1992, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Tuscaloosa Commerce Bank. During his tenure, the bank installed their first ATMs, opened the first supermarket branch in Livingston Parish, and doubled the number of new accounts opened each month.
His broad range of experience was gained by working in a “hands-on” environment and being actively involved in the programming, development, and implementation of automated systems in the community bank market. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. Also, he is a graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking of the South. Professional certifications include Certified Public Accountant and Certified Data Processor.
James Snyder Senior Vice President Sales
Experience: 33 years
James is an expert in document imaging, Check21, and teller products. He spent 20 years servicing banking equipment and history in management. He went on to sell Core processing software to financial institutions. James has sold maintenance contracts for our wide variety of banking equipment, as well as selling C&A’s financial software products. His broad career experience includes operations, customer support, correspondent banking, and sales. He has worked with bank operations with item processing for several years, including proof/capture, remittance, and float management.
Kathy Guillard Implementation Manager
Experience: 35 years
Kathy Guillard is one of the original staff members of C&A and is responsible for all major product installations including ImageChex32 and ProofPC32. With extensive experience in item processing and sorter/scanner installations, Kathy is a valuable resource for our customers. Additionally, she works with customers and support staff to resolve problems and work on enhancements for C&A software products.
Her experience in banking began at Louisiana National Bank as a Programmer Analyst in the Correspondent Banking Department. Her experience in writing computer software began in 1978.
Jim Brown Product Development Specialist
Experience: 25 years
Jim Brown holds an Associate’s degree in electronic engineering and has been coding professionally for over 20 years. He is adept with Modern Technologies. With a background also in technical writing, he develops product specifications and writes code for C&A’s products.
Carey Solomon Product Development Specialist
Experience: 25 years
Carey Solomon has spent 25 years in Information Services and Technology, with a background in manufacturing and electronic media. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from LSU and joined C&A Associates in 2010. Where he helps manage the development of projects for C&A.
